AH30151 - Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering (QCF) from VTCT is an advanced qualification based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) which will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as an advanced barber. Throughout this qualification you will monitor procedures to safely control work operations, provide hairdressing consultation services, creatively cut hair using a combination of barbering techniques, design and create a range of facial hair shapes and promote additional services or products to clients.

If you already hold hairdressing/barbering qualifications or you have experience of working in the industry, through Recognition of Prior Learning you may not have to complete the full barbering course, 
which will reduce the course length, Guided Learning Hours and fees applicable.

Requirements/Eligibility
This course is for people aged 16+;
You will need to have qualified at Level 2 of this qualification to proceed to Level 3 (evidence required);
As with all our courses, a basic literacy & numeracy test may be required.
Progression
This is an approved qualification for working as an advanced Barber.  It also provides a sound platform for further learning or training.  This qualification provides progression opportunities to the following VTCT qualifications:

The course duration for the above course is approximately 55 days.

Course Fees

The fee for course AH30151 Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering is £2800 (you can spread the cost)

You will need to purchase your own training kit (list will be provided at Induction, most items not required at the outset, and can be purchased as course progresses)

You can pay your course fee in full (and receive free WAHL Shaving workshop), or pay an initial deposit* of just £300 and then £40 each time you attend (until the balance is paid) - see our Information page for more details.

Course Duration

The duration of this barbering course is equivalent to approximately 55 full-day lessons, the amount of time it will take you to complete your course depends on the frequency of your attendance and the pace at which you learn.

Remember, you can attend up to 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday), including Thursday evenings. This flexibility allows you to achieve your qualification like a fast track course but with no additional fees.
